Data privacy notes
The protection of your personal data is important to us. The following information explains in a clear and transparent way how we process data submitted through this website or through a LinkedIn lead form.
1. Who is responsible?
Telekom Deutschland GmbH, Landgrabenweg 149, 53227 Bonn, Germany, is responsible for the processing described here.
For questions about your request, contact inflight@telekom.de. For data-protection questions, contact datenschutz@telekom.de.
2. What information do we process?
Depending on the form and the information you provide, we may process:
- first name and last name,
- business e-mail address,
- airline or company name,
- job title,
- telephone number, and
- the content of your request and your preferred workshop details.
3. Why do we use this information?
We process the information solely to contact you, prepare or arrange workshop sessions, answer questions about LEAN TECH ENABLER, and send requested product materials by e-mail.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where no pre-contractual relationship applies, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where you have expressly consented to contact or the receipt of materials, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR applies.
4. Website forms and LinkedIn forms
Website forms
Information entered into a form on this website is transmitted to the responsible Telekom team and used only for the purposes described above.
LinkedIn lead forms
If you submit a LinkedIn lead form, LinkedIn first collects the information within its platform and then makes it available to us. LinkedIn processes data under its own privacy terms until the information is transferred to us. After receipt, we process the data solely for your requested contact, workshop, or product-material follow-up.
5. How long do we keep your data?
We delete the personal data collected for these enquiries automatically no later than 90 days after the requested materials have been sent, the workshop has taken place, or the last substantive contact concerning your request has ended—whichever occurs last.
This 90-day period is our defined maximum retention period for these contact and lead enquiries. German law does not prescribe one universal number of days for every enquiry. The decisive rule is the storage-limitation principle in Art. 5(1)(e) GDPR and the right and obligation to erase data when it is no longer required under Art. 17 GDPR.
Data may be retained longer only where a specific statutory obligation applies or where it is required for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. In that case, access is restricted and the data is deleted when the relevant obligation or limitation period ends.
6. Who receives the data?
Access is limited to Telekom employees and service providers who need the information to handle your request. Service providers may process data only on our instructions and under appropriate data-protection agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or data portability where the legal requirements are met. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
8. Further information
These notes follow the transparency principles of the GDPR. Further details are available in the general Telekom data privacy information, the General Data Protection Regulation, and the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
