Deutsche Telekom's activities:

On Day 1, September 30th

  • From 09:30 – 10:30 am:
Rolf Nafziger, SVP Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, will share his views on the future of Wi-Fi in the exclusive Keynote panel discussion entitled “Vision 2030 - the road ahead for wireless operators for the next decade”.

  • From 2 – 2:20 pm:
In the Enterprise Wireless conference track, you’ll have the chance to hear from David Fox, Vice President Inflight Services & Connectivity, speaking about "The missing piece for seamless WiFi monetization in flight – how telcos add value to airlines and passengers!"

Going “seamless” has for years been touted as the solution to improve monetization of WiFi in the sky.  Seamless or “near seamless” technologies for Hotspot 2.0 and WISPr have been around for years – so why is proliferation in the industry still so poor?
In his keynote, David will share what he thinks is the missing piece to the puzzle and give insights into DT’s plans for making inflight passenger connectivity a little more seamless, adding value to passengers, airlines and telcos alike.
